Many bond funds risk repeating 2008 blow ups, warns GLG's Mawby

By on

Top performing bond manager Jon Mawby believes large, daily-dealing strategic bond funds could be running the risk of repeating the blow-ups seen in the bond sector in 2008.

The London-based manager said the liquidity risks involved in these funds has become more pronounced as they have continued to draw money away from the more traditional fixed income sectors.

In this video, Mawby also explains why he believes the eurozone could be heading for another sovereign debt crisis and how he is positioning for the twin threats of inflation and deflation.
