Lloyds TSB has restructured its fund selection unit which will now be run out of its London office and headed up by Mark Harries.

The changes took place at the end of 2012 and Laurent Truchi, who previously headed up its fund selection unit in Geneva, is now running Lloyds' international multi-asset offering which will include third party products that have been highlighted by the London selection team.

The French manager is a former Citywire Global cover star and joined Lloyds as its head of fund selection in 2005.

'We can confirm that the long-only manager selection team from Lloyds Banking Group's International Wealth division and SWIP’s multi-manager team have merged,' a spokesperson told Citywire Global.

The firm's fund selection unit is now run entirely out of Lloyd's London office under the leadership of Mark Harries.

The decision was made to consolidate the group’s fund selection business following the creation of an Investment Solutions division within Lloyd’s asset management and multi-management business.
