Henderson Global Investors' tech team has hired a senior analyst to strengthen the management of its €3 billion portfolio following the departure of two of its analysts.

Graeme Clark will join the five-strong team, led by Eurostars A-rated managers Stuart O'Gorman (pictured) and Ian Warmerdam, as senior investment analyst.

In addition Niall Holleran, previously a trainee on the technology team, has been promoted to research assistant.

The hires follow the departure of analysts Gordon Happell and Giles Tulloch from the technology team who worked on the Henderson HF Global Technology fund.

In the last three years, the Henderson HF Global Technology fund returned 23.3%. Its benchmark, the MSCI AC World/Information Technology TR USD index, rose 25.9% in the same period.
