Françoise Rochette, head of asset allocation at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EDRAM), is set to join French boutique Mandarine Gestion.
It is understood that Rochette, who joined EDRAM in 2008, is set to join the Paris-based firm in the next few weeks.
Rochette already has links to Mandarine Gestion, which was co-founded by renowned French manager Marc Renaud (pictured) in 2008, as she currently co-manages a fund mandate for the French firm, Mandarine Reflex, which she runs alongside Renaud and Euro Stars AAA-rated manager Joëlle Morlet-Selmer.
Her departure is the latest for the group since the announcement that Edmond de Rothschild was merging its asset and investment management divisions, EDRAM and EDRIM, in July last year.
Back in October, a French selector told Citywire Global that he expected some consolidation between both firm's multi-asset teams, as both EDRAM and EDRIM have a large number of managers in the sector.
In the past few months EDRAM's bond chief left to join French boutique Tikehau Investment Management while its former chairman, Philippe Couvrecelle, has launched his own consultancy and advisory firm.
