'BRIC bashing' is misguided says former WEF economist

By on

Dr. Frank-Jurgen Richter, keynote speaker at Citywire's Swiss fund selector retreat in Gstaad says 'BRIC bashing' by both Europe and the US is unfair.

India has opened up its retail sector and China is not stealing all the US' jobs, he says.

The former World Economic Forum director has lived, studied and worked in Asia for almost a decade, principally in Tokyo and in Beijing where he developed and managed European Multinationals' China operations.

Now the chairman and founder of Horasis, Richter aims to influence major business and governmental decisions with his public commentary.
