About Robert Smith

Robert Smith joined Baring Asset Management in 1998 and in 2000 worked in the UK and Europe equity team before joining the pan European small and mid cap team in 2004. He was appointed divisional director in 2005 and since 2008 he has been responsible for the Baring German Growth Trust and other European income products, and is also a member of the industrials global sector team. Robert holds the Investment Management Certificate and has passed the Securities Institute Diploma. He is an SFA registered representative and is a member of the Society of Technical Analysts.
